A Look at Hotel Indigo Asheville

If you love your dog -- or pot-bellied pig -- as much as you love food, then consider Hotel Indigo Asheville as your Festival headquarters for the weekend. See what The Today Show had to say about the downtown boutique hotels' amazing pet-friendly perks:

Dogs visiting the Hotel Indigo hotel in Asheville are welcomed with a handmade doggie bone with their name on it. But dogs aren’t the only animals welcome here. A variety of pets can stay, from mini pigs to monkeys. Several times a year the hotel hosts a “Yappy Hour” and the proceeds benefit a local animal shelter and the Brother Wolf organization.

Their restaurant debunks all hotel food stereotypes with Chef Andrew Hamm serving up housemade sausage, pasta, ice cream, breads, a special secret granola, and brownies that the staff says "are ridiculous." The bar uses fresh fruit and herbs plus house-infused liquors for their craft cocktails. See their masterful mixologist in action at the ELIXIR cocktail competition on August 22 at The Venue.

DON'T MISS: Indigo is partnering with Troy & Sons to create special cocktails in celebration of the Festival on Friday and Saturday night, August 23 & 24. You don't have to be a guest to stop by for a sip!
