For ELIXIR and SWEET, there is a city parking deck directly across the street from the Grove Arcade.
The GRAND TASTING is at the US Cellular Center, Asheville, NC 28801.The US Cellular Center and Rankin Avenue parking decks are the closest access to the US Cellular Center. Street parking in downtown is free after 6 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and all day Sunday.
With dozens of locations participating in Asheville Cocktail Week, please check with location yuoplan to attend if you are not familiar with their facility. The facilities for SWEET, and the GRAND TASTING are ADA facilities that are wheelchair accessible.
Tickets are for sale through the Asheville Wine & Food Festival website and may be available at the door. Please bring your State ID (required by the NC Alcohol Beverage Commission) You will receive a barcoded ticket via email that you will need to print out and bring with you. If you require assistance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a problem with your ticket on the day of the event, please visit the Festival Assistance area.
Yes, we do sell tickets tickets at the events. Several categories of tickets (VIP and Combination) do sell out in advance of the festival. We do encourage you to purchase tickets on-line. Please check the website often.
No. Your ticket price includes as much of the offerings as you'd like to taste. There is no additional cost, but many of the vendors will be selling wines and artisan food products should you wish to take home some of the excitement!
VIP ticket holders may enter the festival at 1 p.m. rather than 2 p.m for General Admission. We have also set aside a entire floor of exclusive bites, wines, activities, vendor promotions, and areas for relaxing and entertainment from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
The North Carolina Drinking Age is 21 years of age. You must bring your State Provided (or Passport) Proof Of Identification with you. No exceptions as this is a requirment of the NC Alcohol Beverage Commission. Therefore, we do not allow anyone under 21 years of age be admitted. The Asheville Wine & Food Festival would like for everyone attending to have a safe experience.
As much as we love our furry friends, the Asheville Wine & Food Festival is not the place for pets, so please leave your sweet pets at home.
This is Asheville, so above all, dress comfortable. ELIXIR and SWEET are evening events, so from jeans to cocktail attire is appropriate. The Grand Tasting takes place Saturday afternoon. Casual dress is suitable and do wear comfortable shoes.
We encourage you to purchase locally produced Wines and Gourmet Artisan Foods (prepackaged items) that are on sale during the Grand Tasting. You can purchase directly from the vendors and most accept credit cards.
Entrants of the Grand Tasting will receive a complimentary reusable festival bag. For your bulkier purchases and larger wine orders, you can buy directly from the vendors, who will issue a voucher. Your purchases will be waiting at the Wine Pick-up area located near the exit.
